Commercial Workshop

Here at Welch’s Commercials in St Ives we are skilled and equipped with up-to-date diagnostic technology which enables us to carry out maintenance and repairs on all vehicles, from trucks and trailers to your work van and personal car. Our team of three people has over 40 years’ combined experience within the vehicle and repair industry, along with an ADR licence to enable us to collect and service tankers.



Our team understands that whilst your vehicle is off the road it can be costly in both time and money, so we are committed to provide you with a quality and efficient service or repair for your vehicle(s) to get you back on the road as quickly as we can.

We hold accounts with many major suppliers and have the support of Renault & MAN dealerships within The Welch Group.

Our services include:

  • Repairs and servicing to commercial vehicles and trailers from vans to 44 tonne trucks
  • Service inspections to Department of Transport VOSA standards             
  • Pre MOT inspections and presentation for MOT including the supply of test weights
  • Arranging and booking of MOT’s for all vehicle classes
  • Tail lift testing
  • Arranging brake testing and tacho calibration
  • All vehicle maintenance as required
  • Vehicle diagnostic equipment
  • AdBlue available on site
  • Steam cleaning facilities

Our opening hours are: Monday to Friday 6am to 5pm and Saturday 6am to 11am We are available outside our normal working hours by appointment only.
